To get started, you'll need to create an SMBX account which will include your email address, a username, and password.

We'll also need a bit of personal information from you, that includes a government-issued photo ID, social security number, address, phone number, and employment status.

We get that this seems like a lot, but it's required by our banking partners and regulators to prevent fraudulent investments. This protects both you and the businesses on our marketplace. The last thing we'll collect is your income information to determine how much you can invest.

Once you connect your bank account or credit card to your profile, you'll be ready to check out the SMBX marketplace. You can purchase the Bonds for as little as $10 and start building your investment portfolio. Then each month, you be repaid principal and interest to your SMBX account.
